“We turned in a top performance and won at a difficult ground. We have to keep our season going like this.” Club skipper Javier Zanetti was pleased with the team’s showing against Bologna today.
“You could see that we were determined to get the win, apart from the opening stage when they were more aggressive than us. Afterwards we started stringing moves together and looked to strike and that’s what we did,” the captain added.
So are Inter ready to take on Juventus next Saturday? “There’s no point talking about Saturday’s game just yet because we’ve got Sampdoria before then. There’s a long way to go but if we keep playing like this we can be up there challenging where it matters.”
