The Nerazzurri haven’t conceded at home since 30 September when they beat Fiorentina 2-1 in Serie A. Since Romulo’s 40th-minute strike, Inter have gone 230 minutes with letting in a goal: the 50 remaining minutes of that game plus the victories over Catania (2-0, Serie A) and Partizan Belgrade (1-0, Europa League).

On the two previous occasions when Ciro Ferrara has faced Inter, there has been one victory apiece, the home side winning 2-1 in both cases. Ciro Ferrara was given the sack after the second of those meetings: Inter 2-1 Juventus, a Coppa Italia tie on 28 January 2010.
