Recently, there has been much discussion about Sneijder and his wife Yolanthe’s activities on Twitter, and today, Corriere dello Sport comes with another revelation concerning the relationship between the Dutchman and Inter. It seems that parts of Sneijder’s compensation and bonuses are based on the club’s performance in the Champions League. Inter, however, play in the Europa League this season. “The club’s intention is to renegotiate the agreement: an extension (perhaps until 2016) but with a slightly lower compensation. This proposal was, supposedly not appreciated by Sneijder,” according to Corriere dello Sport. “Will he leave in January or June? Maybe, but the club will require a substantial bid. Liverpool are interested. Also keep an eye on United as well as Russian and American clubs,” concludes the newspaper that interprets the last few days in their own way.
