Massimo Moratti was interviewed outside the Saras offices during the penultimate day of the January transfer window, and was asked about Milan’s acquisition of Balotelli: “Balotelli to Milan is a bargain. We have already had him, therefore it is an acquisition we don’t need. It may, however, be useful to Berlusconi for several reasons… We just have to cover our needs.”
