Carlo Osti, director of Sampdoria talked to the Italian media about the deal regarding Mauro Icardis possible transfer to Inter and about the Inter-players who could take part in the deal.
“Bardi? We already have a lot of goalkeepers and they are all very skilled. They are also very loyal and keep their morals high, despite a shortage of playing time. That is why we will think twice about buying something we already have.
Except the ones already in our squad there are also many players doing well in Serie B-teams, that is why that role is well-covered in our team. We don’t need eleven goalkeepers.”
