Alessandro Diamanti, but also Panagiotis Kone: the two players have after their seasons last year in Bologna ended up on the list of possible reinforcements for Inter under Walter Mazzarri. To find out what might happen in terms of the club’s interest in the playmaker from Prato and Greek winger, our partner fcinternews.it contacted Bologna CEO Roberto Zanzi for an exclusive interview.

Hello Zanzi, we hear a lot about Kone getting closer to Inter. Have inter asked for him?

“For now, everybody make inquiries and express interest, which can then lead to negotiations. Our focus is currently on the co-ownerships before June 1, including Kone with Brescia. The interest shown in the player has been on the level of information.”

Will Bologna sell the player after the co-ownership is resolved?

“As I said before, we will try to get the other half of the player, then we’ll talk about the market. I think the club is well aware that the player is co-owned, and wait until everything is resolved before looking to make an offer. Currently, it is difficult on the transfer market, with the recession, and it is impossible to discuss certain things.”

This confirms an interest, at least indirectly, from Inter when it comes to Greek, maybe it will through the agent?

“At present I know nothing about this…”

Another player mentioned along with Inter Diamanti. Is there a negotiation in this case?

“When it comes Diamanti I can tell you that no one has talked to me about what’s in the newspapers. It is clear that the interest has been shown to the player’s entourage. Nobody has said anything to us directly.”

It seems inevitable that there will be a move to a big club for him for next season…

“We talk about things that have already been expressed by the player the other day. He thanked the team that helped him develop and take a place in the national team.”

Is there a favorite between Inter and Juventus for the player?

“It’s hard to talk about a favorite between Inter and Juventus because none of them talked to me. Then there is certainly a team that is more interested, at least indirectly.”
