Chelsea seem determined to sign Fredy Guarin, at least according to the latest reports from SportMediaset who claim to reveal the offer that Mourinho’s club has put forward in order to convince Inter to part ways with the Colombian internaional midfielder.

“Chelsea’s interest in Guarin is well-known and The Blues directors aren’t quite convinced whether or not the player is worth 20 million Euros cash. Reports coming out of England state that the London-club want to include the Senegalese striker Demba Ba in the deal, which would reduce the cash payment of the deal by half. The striker who signed for Chelsea last January for a fee of 9 million Euros has struggled to claim stake in the first team.”

It is further reported that “of course, Inter will receive a cash payment of around 10 million Euros. It remains to be seen how things turn out but Walter Mazzarri, who has been against Guarin leaving, is yet to give his consent too.”
