“When I came here I wanted to do something special. I have done everything I could to do something unbelieveable, winning the scudetto, but it was to hard. But we won the Coppa Italia and that was also very special. I understood that it was the best feeling, but I still want to do something more. In my choice to leave, I haven’t thought about money. Since I was a kid I’ve had a football at my feet. I want to thank the club, the president Lotito who has always been correct against me. The club has always been good against me. I want to thank the coach, the team and my teammates. I want to thank you all, the press, everyone. The club made everything to keep me, not only Lotito but everyone else as well. What’s behind my choice is the ambition to do something important in football and that’s my choice. I thank you all, I have the supporters in my heart and I have no words to thank my.
