Nine league games have translated into just two wins. That is Inter’s alarming current form in 2014 at the San Siro. Two wins, six draws and a defeat to Atalanta has left many pondering, why can’t Inter win at home? The answer seems to be fairly simple, the Nerazzurri have dried up in front of goal. Just seven goals in nine home games is not enough enough to regularly win football matches however good your defence and goalkeeper are. This no doubt is something that Walter Mazzarri is working to fix and is in stark contrast to his sides efforts away from Milano. Inter have managed to tally 13 goals this calendar year away from home (Nine games), including a run which has seen them net 10 in their last four contests. It appears that the coach has found a formula for his side when they are on their travels but Inter are yet to answer the lingering questions about their tepid efforts at home.
