As expected the sporting judge concluded that the discriminatory chants from Inter’s Curva Nord towards Napoli were worthy of lifting the suspended punishment that was hanging over this section of the stadium from earlier in the season. Therefor the Curva Nord will be closed for the farewell of Zanetti, Milito, Samuel and others against Lazio on May 10th. If an appeal is not forthcoming or successful, this section will also not be open for the first home fixture of the 2014/15 season. The official judgement cites the 19th and 24th minute of the first half and the 11th and 13th minute of the second half as the moments when these chants were heard. The judge also specifically states that the ‘majority’ of fans in this section took part.
