Sky Sport 24 journalist Luca Marchetti spoke last night about the transfer that took Alexis Sanchez despite heavy interest from Italian clubs.
“Inter tried to get him in January 2011 whilst Juve tried to sign him in June same year but then Barcelona got involved. Right now the situation is the exact opposite of how things were in Italian football 10 years ago. Back then the big clubs in the Serie A always came first but now everyone’s up for grabs and it comes down to who can make the best offer” Marchetti concludes.
