Mateo Kovacic was interviewed by Inter Channel after the game and had the following things to say:
“We made some mistakes, that needs to be said. We did better when we played in 11 against 11. We need to decide the game earlier and the last passage was missing for me as well, even though we did well in the build up play until just outside the penalty area. The important thing was to win and now we will look forward towards Sampdoria. The ball on the ground? Yes, I like to play the ball without losing it. We are happy about the victory.”
