In his press conference before the game against Southampton Arsene Wenger talked about Inter’s interest in Lukas Podolski:
“I both want and hope Podolski will stay with us. Inter? These are non serious rumours, they just talk and nothing more. There are just talks. With the whole team at disposal, the attacking options aren’t missing. We even have to many players to coinvolve all the players for the right ammount of matches. I don’t doubt that some players could leave on loans, especially those that are in need of experience like Yaya Sanogo. But this isn’t the case of Podolski, he isn’t a young player.”
