It was reported earlier today by the Mirror and the Daily Mail that there was an outbreak between Lukas Podolski and Arsene Wenger in the training ground, the German striker came forward to deny the rumors and accuse the newspapers of faking news, here’s what he said on his official Instagram account:
“I always try not to comment on what I read in the newspapers, but when I read something that puts my professionalism and love for the club in doubt I am compelled to speak out. The Mirror has tried to create a story out of nothing. I feel shocked of their ability to write lies and fake news to attract readers, to leave the field first you have to be on the field. Too bad I’ve spent the whole training session with the medical staff. It seems that the Mirror had stormed onto their keyboard. Despite everything I wish them a good year and better luck with getting real news. Forza Arsenal.”
