Another one for his collection. After a career spent breaking record upon record, Javier Zanetti claimed yet another with last night’s premiere of Zanetti Story.
The docufilm topped the box-office charts yesterday, with over 50,000 spectators flocking to see the film about the ever-popular Nerazzurri legend.
The Inter and Nexo Digital film, produced in collaboration with Pirelli, was shown on over 250 screens at 180 cinemas up and down Italy. A week ago, with advance tickets for the 20:30 premiere selling like hot cakes, it was decided to add a second screening at 22:45, enabling even more fans of the legendary former Inter skipper to see the event and follow all the live build-up from Milan via satellite.
Dozens of big names attended the show with Alessandro Cattelan playing host at Auditorium Pirelli, including Erick Thohir, Massimo Moratti, Marco Tronchetti Provera, Roberto Baggio and Ivan Ramiro Cordoba. Naturally Roberto Mancini and his back room team were also there, along with an array of Inter players past and present.
