Mateo Kovacic and Barcelona have been connected in the past and are being connected for the future. At the moment Barca can’t sign any players before the 1st of January 2016 and Tuttosport reports that they could be interested in signing Mateo Kovacic as soon as their transfer ban is over. The newspaper reports that Barca’s sporting director Ariedo Braida had a dinner with Piero Ausilio and that the Barca director asked for information about the Croatian midfielder. When Barca can sign players again, Kovacic will most likely be a target.
