Dodo has today underwent surgery. The full back had a medial meniscectomy and review of the cruciate ligament in his left knee at the Istituto Clinico Humanitas.
The Brazilian has reassured fans from his bedside through his official twitter account.
“The operation went well. Thanks for all the love!”
There has been no shortage of messages of affection for Dodo including his former club Roma who tweeted “Good luck to former Giallorossi @DodoPires92. We hope you return to the pitch soon.”
