‘Tuttomercatoweb’ have been reporting on the situation regarding Paolo Guerrero. The striker is coming up to the end of his contract and Corinthians president Roberto De Andrade has confirmed that the player will be leaving. Here are Andrade’s words:

“I would like him to stay but given the current financial situation of the club we can’t meet his demands.”

“We know what he is capable of so we believe it is right for him to ask for these wages but it is too much for us.”

“We have talked a lot during the last few months and we have tried everything.”

According to the Brazilian press, the request of the Peruvian would be $165,000 per month, just under 2M Euro a year.

The 31 year old has been linked with a move to Inter.
