FC Internazionale Milano v Udinese Calcio - Serie A

After Inter’s 4-3 against Empoli, Yuto Nagatomo spoke to Inter Chanel:

“I think this is the first time I have been here in a while!  We played well, but we conceded three goals, and that is not good.  I am happy for the victory, but three goals are too many to concede and we must improve in this aspect.  I fell better physically, even though this season has been tough.  The Asian Cup made things difficult.  I have played a lot of matches, and I want to play for both Inter, and the national team.   Tomorrow, I will leave on international duty, and I do not even know when my vacation will be.  I am more accustomed to playing on the left, but I am also playing on the right.  It is important to play and put in a good shift for the team.”

Happy for the win, but you’re one of the first that should be booted off the club in the summer. Along with our dear captain.

Naga did well today, even stopped a goal from going in. He would make a very good sub honestly

    • blue&black

      yes,he did very well today.

    • Tchato

Except for the second goal where his positioning failed to create an offside for the Empoli player.

      • Inter4Ever

Well that’s why he’s sub material

Thanks, but its enough. As i previously said, not just the cb, but the fullback pair is also weak. Tbh, santon didnt impress me neither offensively nor defensively, he’s at the same lvl as danilo.
Idk whose the best and affordable RB or LB nowadays, but surely a total reconstruction on defense wont hurt. And maybe medel should start to practice shooting more often, he is a pitbull indeed, but if we want to be Inter again, we need more that just good.

Santon played 10 good matches in a row then he got physical problems – for the last 7 matches or so everytime santon comes in as a sub you can see he isn’t the same as those first 10 matches (he was literally the most stable full back we’ve had all season)

This might due to his recent recovery from injury. Take note that he was sent straight into first 11 the day he came. So its obvious theres a lag here and there. Like RM too, barely 1/2 season so everything is a mess. Next season then.

I have a feeling that next season will be different… I know that’s what we say every year – but now we’re actually going for world class players.

          • hope we can also sign him/them
