Adem Ljajic spoke to Mediaset Premium after tonight’s win against Bologna where the Serbian international assisted Mauro Icardi to the only goal of the match.

“In the first half we played below par, at half-time we looked at eachother and in the end we managed to pull off a win. Now we’re looking forward to the Roma fixture.”

“I’ve always said that I prefer making assists than scoring goals, he had a better chance of scoring than I did as I could have missed. Now we’re top of the league but that doesn’t really mean much, we have to keep going match after match.”

“Me as a left winger? The coach changed formation today but what matters is the desire and spirit of the team. This is a role I’ve played and that I can play, but it’s the coach that decided and what matters to me is that I get to play. I’m happy because I miss playing matches.”

“The big teams manage to win even when they don’t play well, today we raised our level after half-time and especially after Melo was sent off which made us go out there with anger and this is what’s important. The Scudetto? I hope so, yes, we have a good team, a great coach and a great club, we hope it goes well” Ljajic concluded.
