Today Inter are playing for the Trofeo San Nicola with hosts Bari and derby rivals AC Milan but Mancini has left half of his team at home and is already thinking about the game against Napoli.

“As expected in the week leading up to the challenge against Napoli, Roberto Mancini will leave some of the international players who played against Frosinone at home” – reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Ivan Perisic and especially Gary Medel, who didn’t return from Chile until Friday are among the few certain starters for the game against Napoli. In fact the team will return to work at full capacity on Thursday at Pinetina with a double training session.

Yesterday the players who took part against Frosinone did not train, while tomorrow the same fate will befall those who take part in tonight’s triangular series. A calculated risk as Inter don’t play Napoli until Monday.

“Out through injury are Montoya, Santon and of course Vidic.”

Tonight on the other hand, Dodo will be reviewed, as he has made some appearances for the Primavera after his knee surgery. The Brazilian could make his debut this season on Tuesday 15th December when Inter take on either Sassuolo or Cagliari in the second round of the Coppa Italia.
