In a long interview with L’Equipe, Thiago Motta spoke about why he decided to stay with the French champions and not to leave for a new experience.

“From the moment we decided to continue to play together my commitment to the club has been 100%. Football isn’t only played on the pitch, you have to continuously think about the training ground, where you live, whilst maintaining the mantra of winning.”

“PSG is the best team I have ever played for, even stronger than Barcelona in 2006. At PSG every department of the team is better even if we do lack a Ronaldinho who during that period in time made the difference. The final at San Siro is far away. We’re thinking about winning the next match in Malmö.”
