Stevan Jovetic spoke in an extensive interview with Mediaset Premium and started to talk about the alleged arguments in the Inter dressing room after Inter – Lazio:

Inter forward Stevan Jovetic spoke in an exclusive interview with Mediaset Premium about the alleged bust-up in the Inter dressing room following the Lazio defeat: “I’ve read so many different things and, to be honest, I was surprised because nothing at all went on. We lost a game and no one’s happy when you lose but nothing happened. Plus if I did feel guilty or something had gone on, I would say so. If you ask me, it’s much ado about nothing and the coach can confirm that. What matters is we as a team know that it wasn’t anything and we are relaxed. The papers write stories and will continue to do so but really nothing happened. What’s important is that we remain calm and show that on the pitch.”

Even though he was on vacation, Jovetic showed on Instagram that he was working out:

“We had a week off, we were given a programme and I trained. It’s not good to sit around for a week and then come here to play against PSG.”

Jovetic also talked about Inter’s targets this season:

“Our target is to qualify for the Champions League. We have an excellent side and we’re in the title race along with three or four other teams. That said, the main aim is still the same.”

Jovetic concluded that he wants to give more for Inter during the coming year:

“I feel I can always give more, particularly in terms of goals and assists. I haven’t scored in a lot of games but I found the net against Udinese and I’ve provided a few assists. Now I feel good and I will try to do my bit for the team.”
