palacio L

a Gazzetta dello Sport analyzes Inter’s loss to Juventus.

“Inter is a bunch of players who all get the same jerseys and shorts, but there is no sign of a cohesive group, a collective, an idea of how to unite the single players and move in the same direction.” The paper then goes on, pointing out that Palacio is not enough to dispel that this Inter is lacking in ideas.

“Watching the game at the Stadium you can see an Inter incapable of constructing anything dangerous, without ideas or illumination. Palacio is the only light in the darkness. Icardi, the striker who is the one that is supposed to score only touched the ball 21 times, 17 passes and 8 balls lost. The numbers are clear.”

wrong!! we need more striker and put more defensive player. that the only way

  • jemi

Even Nagatomo much better than dumb..asssio

  • Musavie Abdillah

and why we sell Kovacic in the first place?
Oh wait, because we hope Kondogbia and Jovetic could provide creativity, or Ljajic and Perisic could present illumination?
I cant wait of how the team is massively refurbish for the next season while we bring in more players with incapable creativity

  • Boss

it’s all mancini fault..Thohir please sack this mr. idiotic mancini

  • casperv

anyone who would find it interesting to see what Di Franscesco from Sassuolo, a brilliant coach- but totally without experience from any top clubs – could do with little money for us? He deffently has a game plan and everyone on the pitch knows what they have to do in every position – could go on and be “our” Sarri!

    • Inter1998

We already try WM and Gasperini. BIG NO.

  • Tsigalko

Does anyone calculated how much Icardi had worthless pressure run to opposite defenders? And how many times his teammates helped him?

    • Søren

No, but i gotta’ ask you: Is your username a reference to the old FM legend Maxim Tsigalko? We could sure use that guy now haha!

      • Tsigalko

Yes it is, true virtual legend! I am always glad to see when someone recognize him 🙂

        • Søren

Haha, didn’t just see it – it made me go on and download CM 01/02 agian! Just waiting to finish work and go home to set up a team. Tsigalko, Aghahowa, Kerr, Goalgetters like Tristan and of course our former Taribo West on a free transfer! Totally sweet 😀

          • Tsigalko

I remeber all of them and also Nikiforenko, Okoronkwo and D’Allesandro.. hmm, maybe I should download 01/020 version again., now I am nostalgic 🙂

          • Binto Baggio

Dont forget assane n’dyae, dionisis cionisis (GK), michalis konstantinou, and tieme klompe

          • Søren

haha, that’s rigth! michalis konstantinou – old bomber! 😀

          • Søren

It’s Happening! Thanks for reminding me of D’Allesandro – my old go-to-guy 🙂

Just in case, you can download the game here:
            http://www.champman0102.co.uk

          • Solberg – Norway

actually did the same here! georgatos and zanetti as wide men in a 352 formation is a guaranteed win 🙂

          • Søren

Thanks, I’ll try that! If Georgartos fail I have a young an eager Gresko in my B-team 😉

          • Solberg – Norway

            hehe, sweet 🙂

  • Inter1998

Sadly, we can’t sack Mancini in mid competition. Let’s just close our eyes until finisih this League.

    • Musavie Abdillah

wait, Thohir and Ausillio said we will stick with Mancini next season. the “project” is build around him

not just looking for a partner, but
    above all for a buyer.

The Indonesian owner confirms that he has appointed Goldman Sachs to find a
new partner. The investment bank is however not just looking for a
partner, but above all for a buyer.

    • Don’t be ignorant, he himself has denied this and it would be a bad move on his part. Journalists love to lie for more views.

      • nozanneti

        very naive my dear expert.
what do you expect from thohir ?
to say publicly ; I’m selling this failure of mine ?
to ruin his money even more, to make mess in the club and team when inter is still fighting for better position, … that would mean TO MAKE INTER SHARES EVEN LOWER AND INTER PRICE oN THE MARKET AS WELL and someone who is desperately trying to sell something doesn’t do that. of course he is lying to naive part of fans like you. mark my words and come back to discuss after thohir finds the buyer. the problem is that NOBODY WANTS TO BUY OR INVEST IN IT !!!
cunning moratti cheated thohir nicely … another sucker is wanted, perhaps some ignorant investor from china ?

  • Theflow

    One conclusion: Average mediocore squad.
It is truth, in the long term quality allways wins. Depsite a thousand of tactics. Last 4 years, the squad has been mediocore. Positions that urgently needs to be strenghtened are the left and right backs and the midfield.

    • Much agreed, I also don’t know why Ljajic isn’t starting, when Biabiany played in the first team against Sampdoria you could see how lost he was on the ball… He’s fast but can’t control the ball like Adem. If we replace our left and right backs we’ll be set bro.

    • Aaron

That’s the thing though…other Inter managers over the years have had a worse squad to work with ..for example WM had to use dodo Jonathan on the wings with jj and rano as center backs..now that…is mediocre and dispite that he sti managed impressive wins…some frustrating games but what can you expect with such a mediocre line up..however we still scored goals…still created whether through Guarin,kova,hernanes..we found a way to break down opponents defense but here we are..having spent tons of dollars and the results and play seems to be worsening…thid team is seriously underperforming…watch this side on paper…in a 4-3-3 .Handanovic ofc…then for the back four…Miranda and Murillo with jj and telles on the left and right respectively,Medel with Kondogbia and Brozovic in the midfield using Medel as purely CDM ..Brozo given a box to box role and Kondogbia helping out defensively and offensively when the chance presents itself. Then Ljajic on the right wing eder on the left wing and Icardi through the center. With any good manager goals would come as well as a cohesive defensive unit…but we have Mancini…

      • Theflow

Nice explenation. The thing is , inter lost a lot of creativity by selling Kovacic, Hernanes and Guarin and Shaqiri. We can blame Mancini but also the management for that. As long as inter does not play CL football than they are forced to sell to even the balance and adhere to financial fair play rules. If we look it from budgeting perspective inter is struggeling to catch up with the top 10 of the world. They have bugets averaging close to 300-400 milion. While inter have 180 milion and is planning to come close to 240 within 5 years (since 2014). So in the coming years we will still struggle to be a elite topclub. We will probably try to finish 3rd each season and be happy if we qualify for Round of 16th of CL. Thohir is not Planning to win anyhting. He is just a business man. We will struggle more and more because of big competition in incomes espcially from England and also competition from China in transfers. Just look at Lavezzi, we were chasing him for years but he chose for the money in China. And given the fact that Juve is playing CL every year, the income gap is becoming bigger and bigger. Juve has currently the monopoly position in serie A. They are in International top 4 in terms of tv rights income. I hate to say but we missed the boat. We cannot catch up easliy with topclubs anymore. And if we do, it will take years (5-10 years). In the coming years we will struggle. Maybe we will occasionaly win serie A or qualify for CL but the gap to a CL titel or semis will be very big. Hate to say but I doubt if we even can reach the level of 2006-2010 era under Thohir.

  • nozanneti

is icardi a saint ? oh no, it is holy hole wanda…

  • kofko

There is no future with this clown on the bench. Lose but lose with an effort to attack. 3 shots on goal all game is even worst then bologna or carpi. Mancini is pushing people away from attending games. Sad

  • NERAZZURRI

Remember guys before when Icardi complained about his performance saying indirectly that tactics are the reason he is not scoring goals.. I get almost no balls inside the box…. It was from the beginning Mancini choices were wrong, insisting on changing formation every damn time… He this earns the sack… No leave with mutual agreement but rather sack for being a loser causting INTER a fortune on a bench… I am sick of him… Cant stand watching him on sidelines anymore… #manciniout

    • Aaron

And without CL Icardi and all the other decent players will be on there way out…Bayern and RM are set to bid for Miranda with other teams watching as well…offers would come for Murillo as well because of his young age and promising talent…Roma might finally get JJ..kondogbia would have to be sold at a lower fee given his bad level of performances since arriving in the peninsula, medel possibly would depart as well, arsenal wants their hands on brozovic..it also means that the players we used inter formula to get would have to be cancelled or sent back from loan which would see telles and ljajic join jovetic on their way out of the club and Icardi being heavily linked with chelsea and man united …honestly if mourinho goes to MUFC then Icardi is probably gone for around 50m and Pep wants Handanovic with 300m to spend ..go figure..we are screwed over and this one is on Mancini.

      • Seiya20n

this means we will have a Serie B team next season 🙁

      • Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Nice one buddy, that sure escalated quickly XD

        • Aaron

Hmmm…we’d see how funny this is at the end of the season…at least napoli and fiorentina draw :/

      • Inter1998

TBH. I still can find new promising and cheap players. Like Arsenal did. Do you know famous player beside Oezil, Cech and Alexiz? But look how they play. And they always become serious contender to win Premier League. About Leicester, I also amaze how they still in top. Last season they almost relegated. Here’s the major problem in Inter
        1. They dont know what to do if they have the ball
        2. They defend poorly after Christmas
        3. Nothing to do with regista. But if we want to win, of course we must play attacking minded player
        4. No consistant formation and starting line up. This is a very genius mind of Mancini, the highest paid coach in serie A.
        5. No leader to example. Actually I was hoping Handa coz his skill. Or Medel for his determination. But then I realize winning mentality is different.

  • Tsigalko

Gds should wrote this analyze before 2 months. This is nothing new. This is not news. I am seeing this in last 12 matches. And if you look how we played from the beginning of this season we can say that whole season was like this.. And on top of this, Manicini bought Jovetic, Ljajic, Perisic and Eder and they all finished on the bench.. and on top of this Mancio was tried new tactic against juve in Torino.. dear Good!! Mancini is the first person to blame, but now its time to blame also Thohir who is still keeping him..

  • yudi

When will the news about Mancio is sacked out!!?
    I’m waiting, Mr. Thohir…

  • R9

Couldn’t have said it better myself.

  • postal

Sack Mancio, that game yesterday was a disgrace. I can’t believe he can be so idiotic to go with a 3-5-2 with 8 defenders and an aging Palacio against Juve and expect a good result. Sack him now.

    • Aaron

And the sad thing is Palacio was the best player on the pitch by miles! After all the money spent and managerial changes Palacio still is the best player we have..and that speaks volumes.

      • Seiya20n

in fact I was expecting a better game from our team, however the new formation and lack of tactics- how can Mancio explain that the 1st shot on target was at 89 minute…. The article is so rude but at the same time so true, Palacio is trying to make our team look better but what about the other players, he is not capable of playing 90 minutes anymore, so yeah won’t be a bad idea to sack Mancio but management should be very careful to find the right replacement!

      • postal

Palacio is great at his age but he can’t match Dybala as a second striker. There’s a class, creativity and energy difference. The article is right. Palacio is in form but the players who can carry the team aren’t integrated to it and can’t contribute. Ljajic and Perisic certainly lifted us but were brought in way too late and should have started. Jovetic wasn’t even considered and his poor form/lack of fitness or whatever Mancini calls it is all the coach’s fault. I mean sure give Palacio his chances in the small matches, but you can’t rely on him to win the Juve game…

        • Mancini is so dumb, honestly don’t understand why he takes so long to make the important subs.
I feel like he thinks of himself as some sort of enigmatic genius but really he has no clue when it comes to what it is exactly that he’s doing

    • Solberg – Norway

i actually wish we could have stream back. i think he should have a second chance and with these players he might also do good. at least he had balls and destroyed RuBes record on their turf. for me strama is a hero

  • Nu’man ‘Zeus’ Anggara

“no sign of a cohesive group, a collective, an idea of how to unite the single players and move in the same direction.”

everybody know who’s director of the scenes, but he has no shame and professionalism.
