Journalist Antonio Finco was interviewed on the show ’Tutti Convocati’, Finco is a friend of former Inter coach Walter Mazzarri and he revealed that he will return to the public eye soon.
”He will start talkin soon. I have read a lot, he is a top coach, all you have to do is check his track record. The sterotypes about him? Honestly they are gettig old. He will start talking again soon, more complete and with more will than ever.”
Mazzarri is often mentioned as a possible successor to Antonio Conte in the national team.
”It is not true that Andrea D’Amico has approached the Italian football federation about him, all he said was that he is the one most similar to Conte. Should an offer from the Figc arrive he would discuss it calmly, it all depends on what kind of profile they are going to choose.”
