Ahead of this Sunday’s tie with Torino, Danilo D’Ambrosio spoke to Inter Channel:
“The match on Sunday against Torino should not be taken lightly. We are preparing well and we will hope to carry on this successful run. For me a lot of time has passed, I have had many teammates and some of them are still at the Granata. However it will be tough because I spend four years in the beautiful city. When the ref blows the whistle all the emotions and feelings will be put aside. Will Ventura coach the national team? He deserves to go to a top team, and with no dissrespect to Torino, I hope he goes to a stronger league. The national team? I always said that I need to convince my club coach, and his confidence is paying off. I will try to do my all to achieve this goal.”
