Prior to going on holiday in the off season, Roberto Mancini had been told that when he returned Erick Thohir would be in charge and continue the project he started after his 2013 purchase but the latest news has made him doubtful about his future. Gazzetta dello Sport understand that he is both disappointed and surprised by the developments and is unsure what the future holds for Inter in the transfer market with deals having to be discussed with the SCG. GdS also unveiled that the strength of relationship between Mancini and Thohir has weakened after Inter’s weak January window.
