The Domenico Berardi transfer saga is heating up. According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Inter will soon formalize their 25 million euro offer for the Sassuolo player. The Nerazzurri have already spoken to Berardi’s agent and are offering the player 2.5 million euros per year (more than double his current 1.1 million euros per year salary).  Berardi is certainly tempted by Inter’s offer. A move to Mancini’s side would allow him to join a big club and also start in Inter’s 4-2-3-1 formation. From a sporting perspective Inter’s offer is very appealing for the Sassuolo player. The winger is currently on vacation, but when he returns he will meet with Sassuolo’s coach Di Francesco to review his options. The main obstacle for Inter remains Giorgio Squinzi. In addition to being an avid Milan fan, Squinzi is not convinced of losing both Sime Vrsaljko and Domenico Berardi.
