Domenico Berardi’s future is currently obscure. According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Sassuolo do not want to sell their star player, but Berardi wants time to ponder his options. The player agreed to stay at Sassuolo instead of joining Juventus nearly 20 days ago, however Berardi wants to take advantage of his time to reflect on his future. Inter have made their intentions clear: They want to sign Domenico Berardi, and are not giving up. Although Sassuolo’s president Giorgio Squinzi declared his intention to send Berardi to Juventus in 12 months, the player’s desire will be the deciding factor. Should Berardi opt to stay at Sassuolo, Inter will step up their pursuit of Antonio Candreva. They are currently offering Lazio 16 million euros plus 2 million euros in bonuses for the Italian international. Claudio Lotito is still holding out for his 25 million euros pricetag. Inter’s search for a right sided attacker is heating up.
