As a result of an injury to Yohan Cabaye, Geoffrey Kondogbia was called up into the French team as his replacement. The midfielder could play a part against some of his teammates when France and Italy play a friendly in Bari on Thursday likewise against Belarus in the World Cup Qualifiers. He took to twitter to express his joy at the re-call: “I am very happy to rejoin the French team, thank you for the messages”
