Ahead of Roma-Inter this weekend, Romanews.eu caught up with former Inter coach Roberto Mancini to talk about the game: “I think Inter get there better, because at least in the league comes from two wins and a draw, but psychologically they could be better after the blow in yesterday’s defeat in the Europa League. But this is always a challenge and requires ‘outside the box thinking’ because they’re two great clubs. For many years Inter and Roma have played for the championship, it is always a good match. Will I be there at the Olimpico? No, I’m gone.”

One of Mancini’s last transfer acts as Inter manager was allowing Juan Jesus to head to the capital club and he spoke on him too: “Juan Jesus is a Vermaelen kind of player who can play more than one role, in his case, centre and left-back. He is still young, so he has room for improvement. I am convinced that in Rome he can improve what we did see at Inter where he played so many years. I think that not only can he improve but also regain a spot on the Brazilian national team.”
