Despite the win for Inter Milan over Torino last night, there have been some reports straight out of the Netherlands that Frank de Boer will be looking to break the bank in the winter transfer window for Manchester United striker and captain Wayne Rooney.

Should the future of the Dutchman remain intact, the manager will be looking to, per Dutch media outlet V-Bal, go for the English player, who has reportedly have been having a sour relationship with current manager Jose Mourinho.

An attempt will be made to make sales in January and, if that leaves room in the budget to comply with Financial Fair Play.
