At yesterday’s summit, Gazzetta dello Sport caught wind of some of Jindong Zhang’s words: “Our one is a long term project, we will not save energy or economic resources, to bring Inter to the top of world of football. Especially next year when Financial Fair Play will not stop us anymore.”

Furthermore, GdS state that the expiring contract of Piero Ausilio and Giovanni Gardini will be discussed between March and June of next year. It is also expected that Thohir will sell the remainder of his shares, whether he sells to Steven Zhang, the son of Jindong or the ever present Javier Zanetti is unknown.

I thought the FFP didn´t expire before January 2018? Is that what he means by “next year”? or does he mean “next season” (2017-2018)??

If I’m not mistaken, the new owners get to re-negotiate the FFP with the authorities. They tried to do it this summer but were refused. Once this/ new terms go through, expect us to become Chelsea at the very least.

I´ve seen Ausilio saying the same thing; “we need to go through January with a balanced budget, but next year (is he meaning 2018 or next summer/season), – it´ll be something completely different”! Just wondering wether we´re going to turn into Chelsea, Psg, City INTER anno the 90´s next summer or next year 2018….

It’s sounds so surreal I have to see to believe.

According to what I´ve seen we have to wait until January 2018 before going on a spending spree….. of cause – if we get a couple of sponsor to throw some money after the club we could achieve to have a balanced budget by the end of January and have a plus of 40mil which is what FFP requires of us by the end of Juli!

“FFP wont stop us anymore”. Other teams should be worry lol

Unless we gonna be spending all our money on some more attackers to sit on the bench next to Gabigol and co while we’re stuck behind with the likes of Naga, Rano, Melo, D’umbro and I gotta add Murillo to the list now. He’s officially joined the “lord team”, going as far as losing his spot to Lord Frog himself…

Do you mean Moratti? Where would Zanetti get the funds to buy such a large share in Inter?

    • Mike

Zanetti could buy 2 % share of inter

maybe, but Thohir’s share is 29% I think. I don’t know how JZ could afford that.
