Mauro Icardi spoke to Sport Mediaset on what football is for him and the captain’s armband: “I started playing football in a small team, it was my hometown team and I scored a lot of goals. In my first match I did not want to play and stood still in the middle of the pitch. To have the captain’s armband in a team like Inter, especially after Zanetti who had it for nearly 20 years, I don’t say it’s a burden, but a great honour for me being an Argentinian like him.”
