If today’s medical examination is successful, Robert Gagliardini will be officially announced as an Inter player later this afternoon. The contract is as follows: 2 million euros for the loan, 20 million euros for the redemption and on top of that bonuses to Atalanta and the player himself. His starting salary will be 1.5 million euros, a salaray that will increase during his 5-year contract. Now the question is if the youngster will start against Chievo given the situation of Brozovic who is suspended. At the moment it seems more probable that Joao Mario will play alongside Kondogbia in a 4-2-3-1. Since Gnoukouri is on his way out the only other option is Gary Medel who just recently recuperated from an injury. But Pioli could as well play with a 4-3-3, a formation that would open up a spot for Gagliardini who’s favourite position is as an outside midfielder. It seems a bit unlikely though, that Pioli would change a formation that has been so successful for four games in a row now.
