Former AC Milan star Ruud Gullit today was interviewed by Radio 24 to present his autobiography ”Don’t look at the ball”. He was asked few questions about Frank De Boer and his time at Inter on which he said:

Why did’t it work? I do not know, I was not here … the thing I heard in the Netherlands is that Inter wanted the results that De Boer had at Ajax. He tried, but he needed more time to adapt. In Italy the only thing that counts is result and you need to get them right away from the start. They did not have patience with him and they kicked him; I’m sorry for him, I hope he will soon find a new bench. The only certain event about one manager’s life is sacking”
