Don Ausilio

According to the experts, Inter will have a market at the highest level this summer. For quite some time now, Inter have been working on reinforcing the roster, especially in the defence. And they are particularly looking at the Italian market. Proving the idea are the transfers of Candreva and Gagliardini.

Corriere dello Sport explains: “Sporting Director Piero Ausilio will of course continue to tour Europe observing Inter targets. As previously reported those are full backs Henrichs and Rodriguez but also Marquinhos who is the dream for the central defence. But then there’s the idea of signing players from the Serie A, Manolas and De Vrij are considered as alternatives to the Brazilian Marquinhos. Should that go south, there is also Acerbi and Skriniar. For the externals, Inter needs prospects for a four-man defence which means Conti is less considered. Instead Inter is following Masina (also followed by Juventus), Barreca and Darmian.

The same goes for midfield and attack: Verratti, Pellegrini (Sassuolo) and Benassi (Torino) for the midfield and Bernardeschi, Berardi, Petagna, Muriel, Schick, Sanchez and Aguero for the attack.
