According to Tuttosport, Sampdoria will not give up Patrik Schick that easily. In the next couple of days, Sampdoria management will meet with the players agent in order to stretch his current contract (expiring 2020) including adding a clause that would make his signature worth between 25-40 million euros, thereby making him the most expensive Sampdoria player ever. As for Luis Muriel, also being targeted by the “big” teams, his buy-out clause is currently on 28 million, but that could soon rise to 35. In short, Sampdoria is trying to protect themselves against recent assaults from clubs like Inter and Milan.
