Despite reassuring management he will remain with Atletico until next summer when his contract expires, Suning are prepared to pay Diego Simeone‘s 50 million release clause to get him this summer Corriere dello Sport report. Other names Inter are looking at include Max Allegri, Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho.

Is this a new trend? Or usually coaches also have release clause in their contract?
I just read this. Didn’t know that coach has release clause inserted.
    Especially with value that fantastic.

    I would prefer Simeone…
But couldn’t say completely No to Conte….
    He is s great coach…
    No way to Allegri!!!

  • Lajoya

120 for him + Griezman puhlease.

  • interista13

I know we have plenty of money, but buying out Simeone next season would be a waste of 50m that could be much better spent on upgrading the team for when he comes in 2018 for free. With that money we could buy his son Giovanni, and maybe even pull a repeat of what Herrera did and bring one of his star players with him in Koke, Saul or Carrasco!

My head says keep Pioli for one season and get simeone when his contract expires, but imagine having him for next season…

  • casperv

No to Allegri and a HUGE no to Conte – a former Juve legend as a player AND as a coach! No way! And 50 mil for Simeone is simply insane – just keep Pioli!

    • iAmJimmyShaker

Replied to the wrong person. My bad

    • Alex

Conte is good, and there is no reason why we shouldn’t sign him in today’s football. He is the master of success with underdog teams… Just Look at Italy in Euro

      • syahrul sembarang

Id say better we look for others option. Not debating conte ability, but if i may, id chosee to keep our pride. Im sure theres better coach beside conte.

      • casperv

Many reasons, like I said belove he´s a Juve legend both as a coach and as a player and therefor I wouldn’t want him as my coach – besides I still think Pioli is doing a superb job with the players he has!

        • Alex

Come on! To me Pioli has proven that he is not a big match coach. I only change him with a top 10 coach like Conte or Simione though…

          • casperv

Really he has? Pioli has had 18 games with us and won 12! That´s after coming in in the middle of the season af the mess left by Frank De Boer! Loosing to Napoli, Roma and Juve (in a game where we actually played really well) was expected with the defenders we have!
With the right transfers this summer we will be extremly strong next season with Pioli now knowing the squad 100% and the players knowing him!

          • Alex

Mancini was doing quit fine when we replaced him with Mourinho, and you know the rest of the story.

If we can get a world class coach (like Simione and Conte) I think we should snatch them just like we did in 2009, and if they are still unavailable, stick with Pioli…

          • casperv

Can’t compare – we were top of the league back then with an all ready “finish product” in our team we only needed the CL and Mancini simply sucked in Europe that´s why he was sacked!

  • iAmJimmyShaker

Definitely NOT Allegri! He’s a mediocre coach that’s being made to look good due to the copious amount of dodgy referee decisions that have gone Jubes way this season. With the exception of Conte I cannot think of a single Jube coach that has moved on from Jube and had the same “success”. It’s because Jube play by different rules to all the other teams it’s plain for all neutrals to see.

    • I miss Marco Branca

are you crazy?! Allegri’s Milan beat Barcelona 2-0 with a team who’s CB were Zapata-Mexes and lead by Balotelli …. think if it like this…that’s like Inter having Ranocchia-silvestre as CB’s lead by Grandpalacio trying to win a game ! Allegri and Spaletti are the 2 best coaches in Italy right now simply put ! I would say Sarri but until he learns how to rotate his squad they will always be limited in their success. If you want conte that’s great, the last ex-Juventino who coached you guys quit Inter and won a world cup aka – Lippi

      • iAmJimmyShaker

While beating Barcelona 2-0 is an impressive result, how many trophies has he won before going to Juve? As a Juve fan surely you must remember how the majority of Juve tifosi were up in arms at his appointment for the same reasons I explained before. While I kind of understand your argument it doesn’t stand up.
Ranieri won the premiership with Leicester City, but he’s a mediocre coach who got lucky. The other coaches this article mentions however are reputable and get my full respect. Even Conte.

        • I miss Marco Branca

Dude, he won a scudetto at Milan and arguably should have won 2. What did Gasperini/Ranieri/Strama/Mancini/De Boer win combined ? a coppa tim ??

          • iAmJimmyShaker

I never gave my opinion on the other coaches you’ve just mentioned. Why? Because they’re not up for debate and therefore not relivent. Still, in comparison to the other coaches this article mentions Allegri is weak.

          • Lajoya

I agree that Allegri is a great coach, at Milan he didn’t get support he needed cuz Berlusconi and Galliani are scums.

          • iAmJimmyShaker

The referee was your MOTM last night I see. Thus cementing my comments in my first post. Juve, great team on paper, but the players and fans are disillusioned by fake victories. However, when they play with their 12th man they are “formidable” lol

          • I miss Marco Branca

well you can be inter …spending 100 million and still too stupid to realize that inter still isn’t a top 3 team !

          • iAmJimmyShaker

And you can keep celebrating your 12 man victories while the rest of the world laughs at your farce of a team lol.

        • I miss Marco Branca

Ranieri didn’t get lucky – he had the perfect team for his style of football and they worked for him. If anyone got luck in Soccer it’s mancini cuz he only goes where the teams splash the cash to make him look good

          • iAmJimmyShaker

Really? Where is Ranieri now? Same team, different story. Where’s the consistency?

  • kuda

Wow. Im not sure about this. But a bold move is needed to make leap jump forward. Go Sunning!
