Antonio Conte still intends to remain the Chelsea, but only on his terms. In particular, as The Times points out, the Italian coach has already made clear his intention to have greater voting power in respect to the transfer market. Currently, transfers are the responsibility of Marina Granovskaia and Michael Emenalo. Conte wants to set up a great team for next year and not repeat the mistakes of last summer, in which four new players came but only one, N’Golo Kanté, was actually requested by the former Italy national coach. We need to understand if the conditions will be accepted or not by Roman Abramovich.
