During an interview with RMC Sport, Mario Balotelli spoke about many topics, from the present with Monaco, through the past problems of racism and sadly but specifically revealing an anecdote from his Inter past:

“When I was 15 I went to play in Barcelona, but I never got in, then I went to Inter. Lumezzane wanted some money to let me go, Barcelona did not want to buy me and so I ended up at Inter.”

The Italian did not forget to mention Giampiero Ventura, Italy’s current manager: “I love the national team. I did not hear the coach call me on the phone, but if he did, I would come running.”
