According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Mauro Icardi was furious that his side couldn’t grab a win from yesterday’s clash at the Stadio Olimpico.

They report that the Argentinian was angry in the changing rooms after all the chances Inter missed to win the game.

The paper says: “A mix of anger, bitterness and perhaps self-criticism, in an evening where he wanted to keep his Inter on track for Champions League football and maybe get closer to dethroning Belotti from the top spot in the goal scoring charts.

“He fought like a lion in each of the attacks Inter had but often had to deal with hopeful passes forward, only managing one shot on goal in the 90 minutes. He had a goal rightly disallowed for offside, lost the ball 11 times and never fouled. For Inter, a demonstration of how not to use your most lethal weapon.”
