Marco Verratti has grown into one of the best midfielders in the world while at Paris Saint-Germain. Today Verratti’s agent Donato Di Campli had some very interesting words to say regarding his client’s future to La Gazzetta Dello Sport:
“Will Verratti still be at PSG next season? It is a complicated situation, and he has a contract until 2021. He wants to win, and as it stands, PSG cannot do that. Marco has been in Paris for 5 years now and he has to make a decision. He can earn a lot of money and not win, or earn less and become a champion. It is not a financial issue. Anyone who wants Verratti would pay him well. If he leaves PSG then it will be for a top club. Italy? There are top clubs there but I have some doubts that this will be his destination.”
