Twenty-three total appearances so far, including three in the Europa League and two in the Coppa Italia, two assists and 1,635 minutes played.

That is the tally of Cristian Ansaldi, the Argentine defender born in 1986, who has a contract until 2019 (with a one-year option) atInter.

FcInterNews.it interviewed the player’s agent, Pedro Aldave, the good moment of his client.

Aldave, how is Ansaldi?

“He’s fine, he is happy because he is playing continually. Pioli is giving him confidence, but we knew it was only a matter of time until Cristian would have proved his value.”

If it were not for that injury…

“The problem is that he had to stop [due to knee injury] and there were many changes in the team. It was not easy to establish himself quickly.”

Cristian, according to a study by La Gazzetta dello Sport, is the defender who makes the most crosses from open play and the second most dribbles per 90 minutes in Serie A.

“They bought him for that reason and knew him for what he did last year at Genoa and in the past years of his career. The player is very happy with the support that is giving, to the team and to the club.”

What about the future?

“Some clubs have called me, but the boy wants to stay at Inter, where he can still grow and improve.”
