Later on tonight Ivan Perisic will captain Croatia for the first time in a friendly with Estonia, he spoke on the matter at the press conference ahead of the game: “I will be honoured to wear the captain’s armband for the first time. Nobody is prouder than me, I’m looking forward to it. I was sad because I couldn’t play against Ukraine, I really wanted to play. But now only Estonia is important: we have the right players to replace the ones missing. As we saw at Euros, everybody will give his 100%.”
