Manchester United are on the lookout for a new replacement for David de Gea as many rumors are linking the 26 year old to a Real Madrid transfer this summer.

According to The Independent, De Gea’s situation with United is complicated, given that he and his girlfriend Edurne Garcia have long wanted to return to his home city – he was on the verge of leaving the English side during the 2015 summer but due to administrative issues, the deal was never finalized and was called off in the last minutes. Inter‘s, Samir Handanovic and Milan’s Gianluigi Donnarumma, are the two top priorities for the Red Devils this summer for the goalkeeping position.

Currently, United are seeking replacements, with Handanovic currently being the leading candidate. The 32-year-old Slovenian has attracted similar Premier League interest from Liverpool and Manchester City.
