Spal goalkeeper Alex Meret is attracting a lot of attendion due to his performances with the Serie B outfit so far this season. Meret’s agent Andrea Pastorello spoke to La Gazzetta Dello Sport about his client’s current situation:
“He is enjoying an excellent spell on both a team and personal level. When we chose Spal in the summer we did not imagine that they would be fighting at the top of the table. The call up to the national team directly from a Serie B side proves his quality. He is playing an important role, but he must stay grounded. We are evaluating what option would be best for his growth. We made the right choice by joining Spal. We will carefully evaluate all of our options this summer prior to making a decision. He is a young boy so whatever decision he makes will have a huge affect on his career. We will have to make a decision.”
