After the final whistle of the Milan derby, AC Milan coach Vincenzo Montella spoke with Premium Sport: “I don’t understand the discussion, Inter made a lot of time go away in the last 20-25 minutes. I don’t know if it’s right but the referee has added time accordingly. In the first half we could have been faster and more cynical, but did well in the first half hour. After the first goal we dropped a bit. It would have been absurd to lose today given how we played. In the second half we came back in an outstanding way, it’s not easy to come back with two goals playing away. Today I understand why the Inter fans celebrated so much at their equaliser in the first game. I also celebrated today in a way that I not usually do. The fourth referee told me that the extra time infact was 6 not 5 minutes due to all the time lost. Orsato was excellent today”.
