Lorenzo Insigne’s Napoli renewal is expected to be announced on either Saturday or Monday.
Following showdown talks, it emerged last week that the attacker had agreed a new deal with the Partenopei.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the agreement is worth €5 million per season until 2022, with Insigne’s image rights remaining with the club.
Given the Italian international is a local hero, the club will look to make an event of the official announcement.
President Aurelio De Laurentiis is planning a press conference for Saturday, which will coincide with Maurizio Sarri’s media briefing ahead of the Sassuolo match.
However, the announcement could instead be put back to Monday which would allow the Vesuviani to have an #InsigneDay on social media.
