It will be very difficult for any European club to prize Leonardo Jardim from Monaco, according to Sky journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.

The Portuguese coach entered Monaco’s history books last night, having led them to the Champions League semi-final stage for the first time in 13 years.

However, the 42-year-old’s future is far from certain, with PSG, Roma and Inter all reportedly interested in securing his services.

One thing seems pretty clear: the Nerazzurri leadership would prefer an Italian coach for next season after Frank De Boer’s disastrous spell in charge last year.
